Meet Eric Headlee, Creator of Arise Elite Longevity

Eric D. Headlee is a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner with certifications in longevity science, genomic testing, and nutrition, and a co-creator of the ARISE® brand, developed jointly with his wife, Wendy Byrd, a nationally recognized trauma therapist and EMDR trainer. Together, they created ARISE as an integrative framework uniting trauma resolution, nervous system regulation, metabolic health, and long-term human flourishing.

Eric is the founder of Arise Elite Longevity, where he applies a systems-based approach to healthspan that prioritizes Resolution → Regulation → Optimization. His work focuses on the bi-directional relationship between mental health, nervous system safety, glucose regulation, and biological aging—addressing why even the most advanced longevity interventions often fail when underlying stress physiology and unresolved trauma remain unaddressed.

In parallel, Eric is also the founder of Future Health NxT, a healthcare services company delivering Remote Physiological Monitoring (RPM) and Chronic Care Management (CCM) for individuals who are already chronically ill and medically compromised. After more than three decades in healthcare—and years working directly in RPM and chronic care—Eric began asking a defining question: Why do we wait so long to address healthspan, when we know the average person spends the final 16.5 years of life living with chronic disease?

Witnessing this reality day after day led to a sobering conclusion: much of modern healthcare excels at managing decline, but intervenes far too late to prevent it. As a result, part of Eric's mission is to eventually put his own RPM/CCM business out of business—not by abandoning people who are sick, but by helping far fewer people ever need to reach that point. His work is driven by the belief that if we address nervous system regulation, metabolic stability, and trauma early enough, chronic disease management should shrink—not grow.

Eric's perspective is also deeply informed by lived experience. After a catastrophic athletic injury early in life, decades of compensatory stress, declining mobility, and unresolved trauma accumulated, ultimately manifesting as severe metabolic dysfunction, alcohol dependence, and advanced liver fibrosis. A medical crisis overseas became the inflection point that forced a deeper investigation into the true drivers of aging and recovery. Through a combination of regenerative medicine, metabolic stabilization, and—critically—trauma resolution via EMDR, Eric experienced a profound physiological reversal once thought impossible.

Across all of his work, Eric's core message is consistent: longevity is not achieved by stacking tools or chasing biomarkers, but by stabilizing the underlying systems that govern safety, regulation, and repair—so healthspan becomes the norm, not the exception.

The Second Act
